As a frustrated writer and beauty junkie, Jacqui pitched her way out of the Cosmopolitan fashion cupboard as a junior stylist with a plethora of ideas and began to make a name for herself as a beauty journalist and author. Writing for many magazines and newspapers including ELLE, Red, Glamour, The Guardian and The Sunday Times Style, including digital publications, Jacqui has also had seven books published globally, the first being Celebrity Style Secrets. It was one of the first books of its kind, where she interviewed the experts behind the celebrities – many of them now brand founders themselves. This led to much press exposure, print serialisations along with radio guest spots.
With a solid foundation in beauty and journalism, and adept at building out a founders and a brand’s narrative, together with a deep understanding of consumer trends and product knowledge, Jacqui became one of the original brand builders for the start-up hair brand Tangle Teezer. Working closely with the founder, she adopted the role as creative and communications director with a firm input in new product development, helping to sky rocket it into a global household name.
Jacqui collaborates closely with founders to craft powerful brand identities that make a lasting impact. Through strategic direction, she ensures brands come across as authoritative and compelling across all touchpoints. Her mission is always to create authentic connections between brands and their audiences, fostering trust, loyalty, and emotional resonance.
